Willy Wonka bug

I had almost forgotten about this . . . amazing little bug, I noticed him first on a dandelion, ran to get my camera and then scared him into the grass, where he posed for this picture.
I would love to know what type of bug he is and the proper name, for now though, he will be referred to as the  "Willy Wonka bug" as my mom said when I showed her the picture; I think it is a very apt discription!  =D
