Green is the Theme!

Why do I like Saint. Patrick's day so much?
'Cause of the Green.
It's the one day when everyone (most of everyone anyway) wears my favorite color.
It's the one day I don't stick out for wearing Green  Almost Every Time They See Me.

 Being such a Color, It deserves a post all it's own.

Days of autumn 9 : Morning Honey locust

The light is just different in the morning, and it gives a whole new character to everything.
So here's some more golden, glowing leaves.

Still, it's kinda short, because I don't have much else prepped.

The Honey locus trees were very colorful last year too,  and I have some favorites I thought I'd share.

This might be my very favorite, the colors are all vibrant, all of them sit beside each other on the color wheel, and then the black branches dashing through.

Looks good in sepia too!

The early bird gets the picture!

Morning is probably my favorite time of day to photograph.
And I have lots of supporting evidence . . . Everything is fresh and cool, dewdrops abound, the back lighting saturates the colors, flowers have just opened, spiders haven't taken down their webs yet, the tortoises are up and around hunting worms, there's neat shadows on the deck . . . .people who normally sleep in should wake  up and watch the show sometimes, it's a stunner. =)
