It was one of those lovely sunny, but windy, spring days . . .
(Obligatory window shot half obscured by flowery branches ;) )
The park is juuuuust beginning to green up, starting with all the little bushes under the trees.
Which means that there's lots of glowy green leaves for me to blur into a border or frame for my subjects... :)
And because I know all of you ARE going to want to know, my hair is 32 inches long, and yes, I am Rapunzel's great great great great great great great great great great great great granddaughter. ;)
Stunning, but also smiley.
A great combination.
And, uh, the not so stunning me . . . :P
I like my pictures to have character in them, ya know?
The sun played hide and seek behind the clouds, so we got a pretty even balance of sun filled shots, and some overcast lighting, which was really even and soft.
I love this spot. The bank has slowly eroded under a 1/4 of this tree, exposing the roots and creating a nice seating arrangement if you're okay with the creek being directly below you. ;)
DUCKS.
This is the first time in 10 years that we've seen ducks swimming in the creek.

ReplyDeleteHaha, creeeepin? I didn't post these too long ago! ;) and I consider your "creeeepin" a compliment anyway! :D
DeleteThanks!! I assume, of course, that your "lovely" is in reference to all the pictures of ME, right? ;) ;)
