Re-member // Summer Evenings

Remember; the Song the Robins sing as they perch upon the rooftops in the evening Sunlight . . .

In the same Sunlight that turns the trees two shades of green.

Remember; the Sparrows on the housetop, whisking in and out of sight . . .

and; that Rambunctious Rabbit, that doesn't want to be seen.  ;)

Remember; the Footprints, following you silently up the stairs, up the driveway . . .

and; the Golden Light, shimmering, glimmering through the leaves.

Remember; the Roses, that ripen to pink in the cool night air, when the bees have quit their play. . .
and; the Clouds that imitate cotton balls and waves, and the soaring Balloons. (For which some small child probably grieves)

Remember; the Shades of a Sunset between two Blocks of Black . . .
and; Finding all the Colors of the Rainbow.

Remember; the Halo around the streetlight, through Branches winking back . . .
and; the Reflection of the street light in the Puddle below.

You might not have robins, roses or rainbows where you are,
perhaps, hide and seek, horses, or stargazing on a car.

Whatever memories God sends your way,
Capture them, before they slip away.

Most of all, remember Him:

Exodus 3:15
God also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be Remembered throughout all generations.

Psalms 22:27
All the ends of the earth shall Remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.

God Bless!

Through stormy clouds

Lovely moon, huh? I wish; it was actually a cloudy afternoon, some stormy, dramatic clouds rolled in and obscured the sun, giving me the idea.
It looks like the moon though, which is pretty cool. =)

Winter Paintings

It's interesting how different trees can look when you stand under them and take a picture looking up.

There have been a lot of very colorful sunsets of late.
I'm not sure if that means the atmosphere is of a certain kind to produce such paintings, or if God just decided to wake us from our winter hibernating. Inspiring us to brave the cold outdoors for a picture, or just to stop and admire, and remind us that there is more to our world than Inside The House.

Besides, going out into the bitter cold should make you even more grateful to have a warm house to sleep in. =D
