Days of Autumn 18 : In my own backyard

While out and about running errands last Tuesday, my eyes were fairly glued to the window as I feasted on the spectacular show of Maples, Oaks and Pear trees that we drove past.
I kept thinking to myself  "Wow! I wish we had some big oaks like that." and "Oooh, look at that whole row of maples by the sidewalk!"
Later I went for Walk About 'round the yard . . . and discovered I had a beautiful oak in my own backyard, squirrels raced at a breakneck speed atop the fence, rabbits squirted out of bushes and I took about 200 pictures in an hour! =D
And, of course, my tea was too hot to drink before I went out, and after I came in . . .  too cold to warm my fingers! = (  Must plan better next time...
Anyhoo, of the 200, 68 were keepers but that's waaaaay to many for one post, and since I've been busy with school during the week, I broke it up into a bunch of little posts.
This is the first one. = )

~Jenny, who hopes you have a Splendiferous Sunday!

    1. I know, most people do photoshoots with people; I do them with trees! =D I've also noticed that I'm about the only one who has gotten up real close, which is my favorite kind of picture to, with the cool blurry backgrounds and all. =)
I have a DSLR like Panosonic that is really very good. you can read more about it on my "Her camera" page. =D
