"For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before shall break forth in singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." ~Isaiah 55:12
When I see the branches of the trees swaying in the wind, with the leaves showing their silvery side, I think of them being joyful; of clapping their hands.
Funny thing: Last year all the oaks were simply spectacular in the range of color they turned! They were also the first trees to change, with the maples following suit the next week. This year however, it is exactly the opposite! The maples burst into flame first and the oak trees are just now starting to turn.
While amusing, it also provided a great backdrop of green for the red to really "pop" against! (Very happy photographer here!)
Looking through these . . . it's almost like entering another world . . .
Hope you've enjoyed this Kansas Autumn with me!
God bless, ~Jenny
