Days of Autumn 22 : Last Oak trees

For reals! When I did the 1st couple "Days of Autumn" I really thought there would only be one post of Oak trees/leaves. But I should've guessed I would find more Oak trees to capture! =D
So this is the last one. Probably. That I'll post anyway. Most likely... I'll keep you posted. ;)

Notice how the leaves go from light to dark shadows.... = Cool.  =D

Ever looked up the trunk of a tree and seen this?

And then, gone in even closer with your spiffy camera?

Inverting my pictures doesn't usually add to them much, but with this one it rather did. =) (and yes, I made it b&w first)

The last evening light lights up a few lucky leaves here and there . . .

Days of Autumn : 7 Honey locust

We have a clump of these in one corner on our backyard,
One day they were green, then almost overnight turned yellow!

Such a deep blue. . . love it!

My neighbors house makes a nice navy-blue background. =)

One of the other trees has only gone a little yellow . . .

I really like this one, how the leaves change from yellow to green . . .

Days of Autumn : 2

There's this line of Oak trees all along one street :

 
. . . They were just calling my name . . . and I didn't resist. =)

 Isn't it a gorgeous palette of scarlet, crimson and ruby? Love it!

Of course, there were a few rogue trees that hadn't turned yet . . .

Then I saw this lovely tree, that was almost completely orange!

I have three words to say :

   Splendiferous, splendifeous, splendifififerous!
