"Ordinary" moments of life

Bit of randomness here; I was peeling a clementine and noticed it was hollow inside!

Autumn trees,

Fluffy Mourning doves,

Golden bean pods amid silver branches,

Branches and rooftops,

Silver-gray clouds, on a background of blue, with sticks of black

A sunset that somehow got left out of another post (woops!   =P)

Fuzzy beagles at the back door,

A sunset that doesn't need clouds to glow,

Mr. cardinal and his wife,

Two gooses geese,

Mysteries of fruit,

Edited picture,

A blue sky.

My life has been very Serendiptious lately.  =)

I like it. (and the word is fun to say too)

Days of Autumn 10 : Random pictures

All the leaves have gone to their winter home . . .

And the bean pods . . . this WHOLE pile is about 92% bean pods. Wanna jump in anyone?

A  squirrel about his squirrely business.
I think they're tails are really cool, the way their fur is colored it almost looks like it has a halo about it! Although the squirrels are anything but angelic . . .

A couple of hot air balloons . . . we went right by/under them, they were so close!

From August

August must have been a busy month, because I took a bunch of pictures that I didn't post and then completely forgot about! = O

So even though it's overcast and 47 something out right now . . . you can enjoy these scenes of sunshine and warmth.

    Like buttery yellow Daylilies.

  

    A skipper warming up on some lavander

  And a skippert that  had apparently never seen a camera before . . .

   Because it was really shy....

   Really shy.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge, ferocious beagle landed on in the scene!

 Her only explanation being she "wanted to stop and smell the flowers", a likely story....

   But none the less, turned my attention to other flowers.

When Daisy is happy, she'll roll around on her back and wave various paws in the air.  =D



Down the deck stairs again . . . =)

Even though the newly painted steps don't have the extra drama of peeling paint and weathered wood, they still make a good subject.
I'm finding out that it looks different depending on what time of day it is, the angle, the weather (dewdrops are great!), and weather or not your beagle is laying on it.  =)

In the morning (around 7) the stripes on the rail make a checkerboard pattern if you use your zoom . . .



Or you can catch the stripes individually.



A little later the light changes to dappled shadows .

Earlier the light reflected off the wood and gave it a silvery tint .

If you don't already have a beagle to decorate your deck, I heartily suggest getting one . =)
