Sure does!
At first I was rather annoyed at having to shoot through a window screen since the picture wouldn't come out as clear . . . and it didn't. But it did do something else, that I didn't expect.

(In case you were wondering, it actually wasn't raining, a sprinkler was just sprinkling, this was at the condo.)

This is the something else: It turned the round, bright drops into twinkling star shapes! It almost reminds one of Christmas lights.
It also gave a waffle like texture to the out of focus orbs of light.
Then I walked outside and got some nice, clear, unfliltered pictures.
In case you hadn't guessed . . . I love these little orbs of light. Can't get enough of 'em. =D
