Milky Way as see from Las Cruces, New Mexico // Leaf Dance Photography

One evening we sat out on the patio to watch the sun go down...
While eating dark chocolate. ;)
The sunset did not disappoint, and then after that, we were treated to a sky full of stars shining out of the inky blackness. . .

  1. No way! These shots are incredible. I can't believe you were able to capture it so well. I've never understood night photography. Thank you for letting me get a glimpse at that glorious night! And you can't go wrong with dark chocolate. I have been obsessed with it as of late. :^)

    1. Yes way!! :D Why shucks, thankee Erin! I was actually very pleasantly surprised too, because this is the first time I've had the opportunity to take such pictures! And for them to turn out so well on my first try made me quite happy. :) You are so welcome!! Haha, indeed, dark chocolate is ALWAYS a good idea! (and healthier than milk chocolate. ;))

    1. Awww, thannnnnnnnks dear! Yeah,I don't get out to the country very often (at night anyway. ;)) so this was a real treat!! :D
Yay!! Haha, I also appreciate the artistic qualities of it, even though it was just one of my many first attempts to get the stars in sharp focus! It was a lot harder than I anticipated!! But I persevered and am very glad I did. :)
