Flocks of Birds

Some sitting starlings softly singing.

  Several sad starlings succembed to the sweet, silvery song,

     swooping sideways from the south side . . .

Still more solitary starlings saw and swooped over.

Suddenly; streaking, soaring,

Some searching, some seeking, and some satisfied with the sights,

*Swwooooosh!*

All with one mind, they flocked; squawked;

and were gone.

I hope you enjoyed this Alliterative poem by Jenny   =)

Happy new year ya'll!

  1. Oh my goodness! That was so pretty, m'dear. I am so glad you were able to capture it all- and from the roosting to the flying. That would be so fun to collage too...

    1. Oh, I'm glad you think so! =D
      Heh, heh, they gathered during lunch and I was doing more watching than eating... so I just grabbed my camera an' photographed them for a couple mintues. Having burst mode on helped quite a bit to catch them mid-flight. Especially when they ALL took flight; something I missed last year!
